Casey Harrity, Director of Breakthroughs at Save the Children International, Visits ICDP-SJ Program in Rayerbazar

Casey Harrity, Director, Breakthroughs, Save the Children International visited the Integrated Child Development Program-Shishuder Jonno (ICDP-SJ) implemented by Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) in Rayerbazar, Dhaka.
During the visit, Harrity interacted with children, adolescents, and community members, observing firsthand the impact of MSS’s initiatives in education, child protection, volunteer engagement, and health and nutrition. The visit provided an opportunity to assess how the program is supporting vulnerable communities and creating pathways for young people to develop and thrive.
MSS’s Executive Director was also present and shared key achievements of the program, along with ongoing challenges and future priorities. Discussions between MSS and Save the Children International representatives focused on strengthening collaboration and identifying innovative approaches to expand outreach and improve program effectiveness.
Both parties emphasized the importance of sustained partnerships in addressing the needs of underserved populations. The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to ensuring that children and young people have access to opportunities that enable their growth, learning, and well-being.
The engagement highlights ongoing efforts by MSS and its partners to deliver impactful, community-based solutions and drive long-term positive change.
