A seasoned development professional with over three decades of experience, Mr. Md. Abdur Razzaque Khan dedicated his career to leading and managing complex development and humanitarian programs across both domestic and international landscapes. His expertise lies at the intersection of high-level strategy and operational execution, encompassing strategic planning, institutional fundraising, and multisectoral program management. He has a proven track record of forging and sustaining impactful partnerships with a diverse stakeholders, including governments, UN agencies, bilateral donors, and civil society organizations.
Recognized as an expert in resource mobilization, Mr. Khan successfully secured and managed multi-million dollar portfolios from the world’s leading donor agencies, including USAID, UK Aid/FCDO, UNFPA, GAC, DFAT and the Global Fund (GFATM). This capability bridges the gap between high-level diplomatic coordination with UN agencies and national governments, ensuring that strategic vision is effectively translated into tangible action. His leadership is defined by a holistic approach, combining deep technical roots in global health and humanitarian activities with rigorous operational acumen in financial oversight and complex grants management.
Throughout a distinguished career spanning prominent organizations such as BRAC International, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Handicap International, CONCERN Worldwide, CIPRB, Marie Stopes, and SMC, He has consistently driven systemic impact and strengthened organizational resilience across the national and international development arena.
He completed the Master of Demography (M. Demo.) from the University of Dhaka in 1989 and the Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Newcastle, USA (Bangladesh Affiliated Centre) in 2006.
