Md. Abdur Razzaque Khan

Assistant Director (Head of SSP)

As a Development Professional, Md. Abdur Razzaque Khan has around 30 years of extensive experience in working with diversified development, and humanitarian programs with different national and international organizations both at home and abroad.

For the first ten years (1994 to 2004) of his career, Mr. Khan worked exclusively with different sub-recipients of USAID for implanting its NGO Health Service Delivery Projects under various capacities including Assistant Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and Project Director.

From 2004 to 2016, Mr. Khan was engaged with CONCERN Worldwide as Senior Project Manager -MHPP, Marie Stopes as Program Officer, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society as Director, and Social Marketing Company as Program Manager- Clinic Operations. Among the above, he successfully implemented diversified health programs and different development activities of the organizations.

Mr. Khan worked as a Program Manager – Health, Nutrition & WaSH with BRAC International in Liberia (West Africa) from 2016 to 2020. During this period he implemented successfully different health projects with UNFPA, USAID, UKAID, GFATM, STOP TB Partnership, and the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare of Liberia.  Under his technical support of fundraising, BRAC Liberia raised funds from different donors and development agencies for their Health Programs.

As a program development and resource mobilization professional, Mr. Khan has a proven work record of working with the CIPRB (2020-2023) and Handicap International (2023-2024). In both organizations, he contributes significantly to raising funds from different donors and development partners and provides necessary technical support to develop project proposals/concept notes, fundraising action plans, sectoral strategies, donor mapping, and reviewing and updating multiple program development and fundraising tools.

Mr. Khan completed his Master of Demography from the University of Dhaka in 1989 and Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Newcastle, USA (Bangladesh Affiliated Centre) in 2006.
