Deputy Director - Finance & Accounts

Md. Abdul Halim is presently Leading Finance & Accounts Department of MSS as Deputy Director since May 2017. He has about three decades of working experiences in the field of finance, accounts, audit, admin and strategic planning & program intervention with international & national NGOs, USAID & other donor funded projects, commercial group/private sector. During his tenure of services in different positions, he had taken leading role for streamlining the finance, accounts and operations of the NGO/entities and had developed accounting system in consistent with accounting software to reduce the finance, accounts and admin costs significantly. He had developed among other personnel procedure, accounting manual, operational system manual, procurement policy, vehicle management policy, accounts keeping training manual etc.

He had attended financial management of USAID awards and administrative compliance, personnel management, time management, project management, ISO and self-empowerment trainings. Moreover, he has expertise on budget preparation, financial management and control for efficient fund management and improving business results.
