Md. Shahidul Islam has performed in various positions of several organizations in microfinance and development sector above 25 years and is currently leading the microfinance program of Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS).

He has strong ability of coordination, operation, risk analysis and take necessary steps, Administrative decision taking, disaster preparedness & rehabilitation, monitoring & evaluation of microfinance program and micro enterprise. He received various training from several organizations like Accounts Management, Risk Management, Staff Management, Fund Management Training of Trainers (TOT), Advance Microfinance & Institutional Development, Value Chain Development etc. He also closely worked with Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation and other donor organizations.

He worked as an Assistant Director in POPI and was in the senior position of Wave Foundation,

He has completed his post graduate degree in Economics.
