Alhajj Mahboob ur Rahman Bhuiyan passes away
Alhajj Mahboob ur Rahman Bhuiyan, a renowned businessman, social worker passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the 25th March 2015 at United Hospital, Dhaka (Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi raajeun). He was 57. He was a founding member of Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) and the member of the Finance Committee; having served as the Treasurer, Vice President, Executive Committee member and Convener of the Finance Committee of MSS for several years in the past. MSS President Feroz M Hassan said “Mahboob was a larger than life character, a successful entrepreneur, a fine human being with strong commitment to serve the suffering humanity and a great friend. His death leaves a void in MSS that is difficult to fill”.
All MSS beneficiaries, the members of the General Body, the Executive Committee and staffs are deeply saddened and express their profound shock at the sudden demise of Alhajj Mahboob ur Rahman Bhuiyan. The MSS family fondly recalls the immense contributions he made towards the socio-economic development of the underprivileged people of Bangladesh. May his soul rest in eternal peace, in heaven.
