ENRICH

Launched in July 2013, MSS is implementing PKSF funded ENRICH (Enhancing Resources and Increasing Capacities of Poor Households TowardsElimination of their Poverty) project in Bangalipur union of Saidpur upazilla under Nilphamari district. The main purpose of this integrated program is to empower and enhance the human dignity of the project participants through holistic approach providing software and hardware support so that they can move forward towards reducing poverty in a sustainable way. Out of 4610 households, the project covers 4571households in the project area. The major interventions include health service, non-formal primary education, promotion of bandhu chula (environment friendly mud stove), installation of solar panel system, medicinal plants cultivation, income generating activities, savings mobilization, vegetable seed distribution, earthworm composting, promoting safe sanitation, tubewell installation, culvert construction etc. Details project accomplishment as of June 2014 are as follows:
